Victory Battery Metals Corp. Expands Uranium Portfolio with New Acquisitions
Victory Battery Metals Corp. (CSE:VR, OTC PINK:VRCFF, FRA:VR6) has announced the acquisition of the Yellow Chief uranium property in Utah and a portfolio of four uranium properties in Saskatchewan. This move increases their overall holdings to 3,643 hectares.
The company has entered into an Option Agreement dated June 26, 2024, pending CSE approval, which grants Victory exclusive rights to acquire a 100% interest in the Yellow Chief property. This involves cash payments totaling $200,000, the issuance of 16,000,000 common shares, and $600,000 in exploration expenditures over three years.
The Yellow Chief property, located in Juab County, Utah, spans 130 hectares and covers a historic open-pit uranium mine. Additional properties in Saskatchewan include the PK property and the Mozzie Halo East and West properties, which bring Victory's total uranium holdings across North America to 12,815 hectares.
Victory President and CEO Mark Ireton emphasized the potential for geographic diversity and the encouraging results from previous work programs on the newly acquired properties.
