VINCI Autoroutes and VINCI Airports traffic in July 2024
In July 2024, VINCI Autoroutes recorded an overall decrease in traffic of 3.1% compared to 2023. This decrease is mainly due to light vehicles, with a decrease of 4.3%, while heavy goods vehicles saw their traffic increase by 7.7%. The decrease for light vehicles is explained by unfavorable calendar effects, in particular one fewer weekend compared to the previous year.
For VINCI Airports, passenger traffic continued to grow with an increase of 6% compared to 2023, and 3.1% compared to 2019. Most of the 14 countries in the network experienced notable increases, notably Cambodia with an increase of 23% and Costa Rica with an increase of 19% compared to 2023.
In terms of commercial movements, VINCI Airports achieved an increase of 3.7% in July and 6.4% in the first seven months of the year compared to 2023. The United States and Costa Rica recorded increases of 17% and 16% respectively for the month of July.
