Viridien, leader in cutting-edge technologies, launches its new brand and accelerates its growth

Paris, France – June 10, 2024. Viridien, formerly CGG, announced today at the EAGE conference in Oslo the launch of its new brand. World leader in cutting-edge technologies, Viridien is inaugurating a new phase of its growth strategy.

Since 2018, the group has sold its data acquisition activities and strengthened its technological differentiation in its core businesses: Geoscience, Earth Data and Sensing & Monitoring. It has also developed new activities in growing sectors such as low-carbon energies, High Performance Computing and Infrastructure Monitoring.

Viridien is now positioned as a key player to help its clients overcome challenges linked to natural resources, energy transition and infrastructure. The new brand reflects the group's values and growth aspirations, while honoring its history and expertise.

The Viridien logo, in blue and green, symbolizes its commitment to the planet and its geo-scientific expertise. Sophie Zurquiyah, Managing Director of Viridien, emphasizes that this transition marks a turning point, linking 90 years of history to a promising future.
