Vision Marine Technologies Files Patent for High-Voltage Marine Battery Pack

(NASDAQ:VMAR) ("Vision Marine" or the "Company") has filed its fourth patent on May 15, 2024, for a high-voltage marine battery pack. This battery is a crucial component of the E-Motion™ Marine Powertrain Technology and will also be available for future recreational electric powerboats.

Over five years, Vision Marine tested various batteries to meet the high standards required for the E-Motion™ Electric Powertrain. Existing solutions lacked the needed performance, security, and ease of installation. Vision Marine developed a bespoke solution focusing on these aspects.

The new battery pack features NMC cells and an advanced battery management system. It is engineered to withstand the challenges of electric boating, with high-voltage delivery and internal cooling. Its design aims to facilitate installation in boats ranging from 18-34 feet.
