Volatus Aerospace Launches European Subsidiary in Norway

Toronto-based Volatus Aerospace Inc. announced the establishment of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Volatus Aerospace Europe AS, in Norway. This new entity aims to enhance the company's presence in Europe and Africa by managing regional activities and accelerating access to key markets for aerial solutions.

The consolidation in the Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) industry is projected to create business opportunities for advanced products and operations. Volatus' recent merger with Drone Delivery Canada is expected to play a crucial role in this expansion.

Bruno Boucher, an experienced aviation professional, will lead Volatus Aerospace Europe AS. The subsidiary has already secured a consulting agreement with a leading eVTOL manufacturer to guide on regulations and operational readiness for large cargo operations.

CEO Glen Lynch emphasized that the new subsidiary leverages Volatus' regulatory experience to commercialize remote operations globally. Bruno Boucher added that their operational ecosystem would reduce costs and risks for customers.

The company is registered with the European Union and is a certified drone operator in Norway, aiming to gain further operational privileges under EASA regulations to push forward advanced operations in Europe and Africa.
