Vonovia SE: 31% of Shareholders Choose Scrip Dividend

Bochum, 31 May 2024 – For the eighth consecutive year, shareholders of Vonovia SE had the option to receive their dividends in the form of new company shares. During the subscription period, 30.93% of dividend-bearing shares opted for this scrip dividend. Consequently, approximately €227 million will remain within the company. A total of 8,207,927 new shares will be issued, increasing the total number of Vonovia shares to 822,852,925.

At the Annual General Meeting, a dividend of €0.90 per share for the 2023 financial year, up from €0.85 in 2022, was approved by 97.7% of the shareholders. This decision aligns with the Supervisory and Management Boards’ strategy of maintaining dividend continuity and capital discipline.

New shares are expected to be credited to shareholders’ accounts on 7 June 2024, while cash dividends and any fractional amounts are expected to be paid out on 4 June 2024.
