VRCCO Hosts Second Annual Benefit Gala to Support Local Pets
The Veterinary Referral Center of Central Oregon (VRCCO) will hold its second annual benefit gala, "Raise the Woof," on September 21, 2024, at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Central Oregon, Bend, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The event aims to support the local pet community and VRCCO’s philanthropic initiatives.
The gala will feature dinner, music by the Mitch Gordon Trio, unique animal encounters, a VIP speakeasy sponsored by BackDrop Distilling, and live and online auctions. Funds raised will benefit the VRCCO Care Fund, which aids pets needing financial assistance for advanced medical care.
Since last year's inaugural gala, VRCCO has raised $130,000. Contributions also support the Hero Fund, allowing the center to acquire state-of-the-art equipment for its patients. Attendees will hear personal stories from pet owners and patients, highlighting the importance of these funds.
VRCCO offers advanced emergency and specialty care in Central Oregon, focusing on personalized pet care. Tickets for the event are available at the VRCCO website.
