DCAI Leverages WEKA for Enhanced AI Infrastructure

The Danish Centre for AI Innovation (DCAI) has expanded its AI capabilities by integrating WEKA's NeuralMesh storage services into its Gefion supercomputer, bringing forth a fully sovereign, encrypted AI infrastructure. This collaboration allows DCAI to offer a unified platform combining high-performance computing and storage.

The deployment adds 140 petabytes of storage, facilitating comprehensive AI operations for European organizations without sacrificing data sovereignty or security. WEKA's architecture provides sub-millisecond latency for AI tasks, enhancing GPU utilization while reducing operational complexities.

The initiative supports the growing demands of AI workloads, ensuring compliance with European data regulations and offering cost and sustainability benefits. DCAI's new storage platform is currently available to select sectors, with broader accessibility anticipated in early 2026.
