Western Alaska Minerals Commences Drilling at Illinois Creek Ag-Zn-Pb CRD, Alaska

Western Alaska Minerals (WAM) has started drilling on its Illinois Creek property in western Alaska. The drilling aims to expand and connect mineralized zones along a 6-8 km stretch of the silver-rich carbonate replacement system (CRD).

The primary objectives are to link the "LH" and "Warm Springs" priority areas with the "Illinois Creek Mine." WAM has allocated a budget of 4,000 meters for the diamond core drilling program, with potential expansion. The drilling targets span approximately 5 km of an 8 km SW-NE trend, linking Waterpump Creek, Warm Springs, and Illinois Creek Mine.

Drilling is conducted in shifts using high-capacity drill rigs. Initial testing began on June 6th in the LH zone and is progressing on schedule. Results will be shared as they become available.
