Westwing Expects 2024 Revenue and EBITDA at Upper Guidance Levels
Westwing Group SE, a leader in Beautiful Living e-commerce, anticipates its FY 2024 revenue and adjusted EBITDA to be at the higher end of its forecasts. Preliminary figures reveal a full-year Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV) of EUR 497 million, marking a 3% increase from the previous year. Revenue is predicted to align with the upper end of the EUR 415 million to EUR 445 million guidance range.
The company expects an adjusted EBITDA between EUR 14 million and EUR 24 million. Additionally, despite incurring costs from share buybacks and restructuring, Westwing achieved a positive free cash flow of EUR 9 million and retained a robust net cash balance of EUR 69 million.
Strategic shifts in product offerings, aimed at more global and premium selections, limited top-line growth in Q4. Nonetheless, the Westwing Collection's contribution to GMV rose to 55%, up 8 percentage points year-over-year, showcasing successful operational advancements.
