WETEX 2024: Innovations in Health and Safety
The 26th WETEX exhibition, organised by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), will be held from 1st to 3rd October 2024 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event will showcase the latest health and safety technologies and practices for homes and workplaces, raising awareness of international standards among institutions and individuals.
The fair will feature four sections: interactive workshops, seminars, child safety and competitions to encourage innovation. HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, CEO of DEWA, stressed that this year’s priority, health and safety, is part of efforts to make the UAE a global leader in quality of life.
Experts will discuss workplace safety guidelines and procedures, highlighting precautionary measures to avoid accidents and increase resilience to the effects of climate change. The aim is to promote a safe and healthy working environment, thus contributing to the reputation of companies as socially responsible.
