Wildlife Works chooses the Fieldbook RC300 reinforced PC for the preservation of the Congo forest

Paris, France – June 5, 2024 – ARCHOS announces that Wildlife Works has selected Logic Instrument's RC300 Fieldbook PC for its conservation operations in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Wildlife Works has worked with local communities for over 25 years to protect forests and biodiversity.

The region presents many technical challenges, including high temperatures, constant humidity and rugged terrain. The Fieldbook RC300 stands out for its robustness against shock and vibration, meeting IP65 and MIL-STD-810 standards. Its 13.3'' FHD screen ensures visibility even in direct sunlight.

Equipped with an Intel Core i7 processor and 16 GB of RAM, the PC provides reliable performance for collecting and analyzing data in the field. It is crucial to Wildlife Works' REDD+ projects, covering animal conservation, carbon sequestration assessment and community engagement.

“We are proud to support Wildlife Works’ conservation efforts,” says Loic Poirier, CEO of ARCHOS and Logic Instrument. “The Fieldbook RC300 solves the most complex environmental challenges.”
