Wildlife Works chooses the Fieldbook RC300 ruggedized PC for its conservation missions in Congo
Paris, France – June 5, 2024 – Wildlife Works, a conservation company working with local communities, has selected Logic Instrument's RC300 Fieldbook PC for its activities in the Congo forest. This region imposes major challenges with its high temperatures and constant humidity.
The Fieldbook RC300 PC stands out for its robustness, resistant to shocks, drops and vibrations. IP65 certified and compliant with the MIL-STD-810 standard, it ensures the continuity of conservation operations in extreme conditions.
Its high-brightness 13.3'' FHD screen allows perfect visibility in direct sunlight, essential for outdoor work where the light is intense. Additionally, its Intel Core i7 processor and 16GB of RAM ensure smooth performance for collecting and analyzing data in the field.
Fieldbook RC300 PCs are crucial to Wildlife Works' REDD+ projects in the Democratic Republic of Congo, including wildlife conservation, carbon sequestration assessment and community programs.
“We proudly support Wildlife Works’ efforts in the Congo Forest,” said Loic Poirier, CEO of Logic Instrument. “The Fieldbook RC300 reflects our commitment to providing technology solutions suited to extreme environments.”
