Wilfried Zaha arrives on loan at Olympique Lyonnais
Olympique Lyonnais announces the paid loan of Wilfried Zaha for one season. The Ivorian international striker joins the Lyon ranks from Galatasaray for a fee of 3 million euros.
Born in 1992 in Abidjan, Zaha began his professional career in 2010 with Crystal Palace. Known for his speed and striking qualities, he played mainly in London, appearing in 458 matches and scoring 90 goals in 13 seasons. He also spent time on loan at Manchester United and Cardiff City.
In 2023, Zaha signed with Galatasaray, playing 43 games and winning the Turkish league title last May. An Ivorian international with 31 caps, he has more than 550 games to his name in the elite.
With the arrival of this talented and experienced player, Olympique Lyonnais strengthens its attacking sector under the direction of Pierre Sage.
