Terravis Energy to Mass-Produce No-Defrost Heat Pump Amidst Polar Vortex

Terravis Energy, a subsidiary of Worksport Ltd., has announced a mass manufacturing partnership for its Aetherlux Pro Zerofrost™ Integrated Heat Pump. The new technology is designed to combat the inefficiencies of traditional heat pumps, which contribute to grid failures and high energy bills during severe winter conditions like the current North American Polar Vortex.

The Aetherlux Pro offers a solution to "defrost cycles" and "backup heat," operating efficiently at temperatures as low as -57°F without requiring defrosting or electric resistance backup. This innovation aims to lower operating costs and protect grid stability.

The new manufacturing agreement with an Asian-based partner promises to ramp up production, with certification targeting the North American market in 2026. This strategic move aligns with Terravis's ambition for global commercialization amidst ongoing energy challenges in cold climates.
