World Green Economy Summit 2024 Hosts High-Level Ministerial Roundtable

The 10th World Green Economy Summit included a high-level roundtable featuring influential global leaders. Participants included President of Palau, UAE's Minister of Climate Change, and other renowned figures. The event also saw representatives from the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change and ambassadors from the Global Alliance on Green Economy.

HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Chair of the World Green Economy Organization, highlighted the summit's alignment with UAE's leaders' vision to further the green economy and combat climate change. The summit aimed to generate momentum towards COP29 in Azerbaijan by fostering discussions on global green policies.

The ministerial session discussed crucial strategies for advancing the green economy, emphasizing renewable energy and improved energy efficiency. Key outcomes included adopting national green economy strategies, aligning with the Paris Agreement, enhancing climate finance, and bolstering international collaboration.
