WYF Unveils Global AI Talent Compact at Summit
The World Youth Forum (WYF) has introduced the Global AI Talent Compact during the AI for Good Global Summit 2026 in Geneva. This event, under the auspices of the International Telecommunication Union and supported by over 50 UN agencies, focuses on advancements in artificial intelligence.
The Compact aims to create an open network with five core commitments: enhancing AI literacy, identifying key human abilities, promoting practical AI learning, ensuring youth well-being, and valuing genuine skills over formal credentials. Houston Hou, WYF's Global Executive Convener, emphasized the need for visible and trustworthy pathways for young talent.
Prominent figures including Fabrizio Hochschild and Ben Nelson participated, alongside youth and AI organizations. Post-launch, WYF plans to collaborate with global supporters to foster AI education and career opportunities for young innovators.
