WyoTech Announces 2024 Hall of Fame Class
WyoTech recently inducted its 2024 Hall of Fame class in a closed ceremony on May 31st. This event coincided with the WyoTech Annual Car Show.
Founded in 1966, WyoTech has provided hands-on training to nearly 60,000 alumni. In 2023, the institution introduced its Hall of Fame initiative to honor graduates demonstrating exceptional leadership skills, philanthropy, character, and experience.
The 2024 inductees include Phillip Cato, who established an upholstery shop after serving in the United States Air Force and attending WyoTech. Brothers Travis and Tyler Groth, who founded Monster Truck team Mirror Image Racing, are also honored.
Rick Crook, who transitioned from a body shop worker to a business owner, and John Hurd, a former WyoTech instructor and current store manager at RDO Equipment Co., have been inducted as well. Lon Phillips, who launched a Diesel Equipment Technology Program, Ian Vance, the owner of "Rods and Fab" shop, and Richard Wood, the founder of Custom Car Crafters in Texas, round out the group.
