ZEAL Network SE Reports Over 40 Percent Growth in Revenue and Earnings for H1 2024

ZEAL Network SE, the prominent German online lottery service provider, has reported significant growth in the first half of 2024. Group revenue increased by 40% to €76.8 million, while EBITDA surged by 46% to €20.1 million. This growth is attributed to a 70% increase in new customers.

The core lottery business experienced a 33% revenue increase, reaching €68.0 million. Billings grew by 23% to €507.1 million. The company saw a rise in the average number of active customers by 21% and an improvement in gross margin to 13.4%.

The games business, launched in June 2023, also exhibited solid growth. The efficient customer acquisition process, with costs per new customer dropping by 26%, played a crucial role. Marketing expenses grew by 28%, aiding in customer base expansion.

ZEAL has confirmed its 2024 forecast, boosted further by launching the Traumhausverlosung, a new charity lottery offering dream homes as prizes.
