ZenaTech Partners with Suntek Global for Defense Drone Cameras
Toronto-based ZenaTech Inc. has announced a strategic partnership between its subsidiary, Spider Vision Sensors Ltd., and Taiwan's Suntek Global. This collaboration aims to design and manufacture Blue UAS-compliant cameras for US Defense applications, integrating these technologies into ZenaDrone products used by US and NATO defense branches.
The partnership will initially focus on developing a 25-megapixel camera for ZenaDrone's IQ Series. The cameras, expected to ship from Taiwan, will enhance ZenaDrone 1000 drone capabilities for surveillance and tactical missions.
ZenaTech CEO Shaun Passley highlighted Suntek's experience with Blue UAS-certified providers as a significant asset. The collaboration supports ZenaTech's plans for expansion, including a new manufacturing facility in Phoenix, Arizona.
This development aligns with ZenaTech's commitment to compliance with the National Defense Authorization Act, reinforcing its position in the defense sector.
