Zentek's Albany Graphite Yields Promising Results from Purification Process

Zentek Ltd. has announced promising new results from its subsidiary Albany Graphite Corp.'s thermal purification testwork. Using a fluidized bed reactor, the company achieved a 99.9991% purity level from a graphite sample, indicating the successful removal and potential recovery of rare earth elements and other impurities as by-products.

Zentek plans to further explore the potential of the Albany graphite deposit for rare earth elements and aims to develop graphite for battery and nuclear applications. The Albany Graphite Project is strategically located in Ontario with existing infrastructure to support future developments.

Next steps include ongoing analysis of REE potential and considering ultra-high purity graphite in lithium-ion battery and nuclear markets. This endeavor may present new by-product opportunities, possibly offsetting purification costs.
