Jim Ellis Automotive Charity Fundraiser Generates $146K for 30 Local Charities
The Jim Ellis Automotive Charity Golf Tournament in August 2023 raised an impressive $146K to support various local charities during the holiday season. This 23rd annual event is a collaborative effort involving the Ellis family, Jim Ellis team members, business partners, and vendors. The funds, totaling over $1.5 million since the tournament's inception, are directed towards aiding women and children in need in the Atlanta area. The tournament committee selected 30 deserving charities, and the donations were disbursed around the holiday season to organizations such as Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation and Canine Companions. Jim Ellis Automotive Group, a 52-year fixture in the Atlanta automotive industry, has been recognized for business excellence with the Consumers' Choice Award for 20 consecutive years. -
