Manitou Group announces agreement to acquire the assets of the south-african Company Dezzo Equipment

Ancenis, May 6, 2024 — Manitou Group, a world reference in the handling, aerial work platform and earthmoving sectors, announces an agreement for an assets deal with its South African dealer Dezzo Equipment. This investment will enable the group to sustain its activities and strengthen its service to customers in the region. This assets deal will be finalized in Q3 2024, following approval by the South African merger control authorities.

Dezzo Equipment has specialized in the sale of Manitou equipment and services in South Africa since 2008. The distributor's various sites cover the Northern Cape and Mpumalanga regions. Dezzo Equipment employs 28 people and had sales of 8 million euros in 2023.
