BADEN-BADEN, Germany and WOLFSBURG, Germany, Nov. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- As vehicle systems become increasingly complex and AI-enabled functions evolve, European automakers face growing demands for integration, computing efficiency and scalability. Autolink is bringing its AI Link 3.0 Deep Fusion EEA to Europe to address these challenges and explore new opportunities for technical collaboration.

The Autolink booth at IZB drew a steady stream of visitors

Unveiled at CES 2026, Deep Fusion EEA is built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8797 platform. It combines central computing, zonal controllers and a high-speed optical communication backbone, delivering up to 256 Gbps bidirectional bandwidth and sub-microsecond latency. It is designed to help reduce integration complexity, support different vehicle segments and provide a flexible foundation for future cross-domain AI applications. It is scheduled to enter mass production on new vehicle models by the end of 2026.

To adapt the technology to European vehicle development requirements, Autolink and EDAG Group are conducting a joint proof of concept. The work covers functional scope, system boundaries and interface specifications, providing a basis for vehicle integration and joint development. Headquartered in Germany, EDAG brings 50 years of vehicle development, production engineering and software expertise.

"European automakers need architectures that manage growing system complexity while leaving room for future innovation. We want to work with local partners to understand their engineering needs and explore how cross-domain integration can support future vehicle development in Europe," said Ethan Li, Chief Strategy Officer of Autolink.

Autolink also brings production experience from China. Its SA8155P-based smart cockpit domain controllers entered mass production in 2021, with cumulative shipments exceeding 2.3 million units as of May 2026. According to Frost & Sullivan, the platform ranked first globally. Autolink employs more than 800 people, including over 500 in R&D, and its products are supported in more than 120 countries. While this track record demonstrates its production and execution capabilities, Deep Fusion EEA itself remains under evaluation for European vehicles.

Alongside technology collaboration, Autolink is strengthening its local presence. The company has opened offices in France and Germany, established an R&D center in Romania and is establishing a manufacturing facility there. These capabilities bring Autolink closer to customer requirements and support joint development, system validation and cooperation on engineering and supply chains.

By combining global technology and production expertise with local engineering and manufacturing, Autolink aims to become a long-term technology partner to European automakers. The company will continue advancing its European engagement through industry events and technical exchanges with European automakers.
