CDN Homes Secures AED 40M Growth Capital With Wrotham Partners as Advisor

CDN Homes has secured AED 40M (approximately US$10.9M) in growth capital from family offices in Riyadh and elsewhere in the Gulf, with Wrotham Partners acting as exclusive placement agent and financial advisor on the transaction.

London-based CDN Homes builds and operates residential properties and leases them on contract to public bodies, including social housing providers, and to corporate clients such as insurance companies. The capital will fund the infrastructure behind the company's expansion across London and the continued development of Project Pilot, CDN Homes' in-house software that brings property management into a single system.

Because CDN Homes' units are contracted to institutions rather than let to individual tenants, the investors gain exposure to London residential property with public-sector and corporate counterparties on the other side of the lease.

Wrotham ran the raise end to end identifying and approaching the family offices, structuring the investment and managing the process through to close.

"Gulf family offices know residential property well. What stood out here was an operator whose income is contracted with public bodies and large corporates, and which is building its own software to run the portfolio," said Ali Govani, Partner at Wrotham. Project Pilot consolidates tenancy management, maintenance, inspections and rent administration into one platform, which CDN Homes uses to run its own portfolio.

The transaction adds to Wrotham's record of connecting growth-stage operators with capital across the Gulf.
