GL events advances to the next phase in the selection process for the Stade de France
THE SELECTION PROCESS FOR THE STADE DE
FRANCE
GL EVENTS (FR0000066672, GLO), the integrated event industry group, has been declared the ‘'Preferred Bidder’ by the French government for the concession to operate the Stade de France.
GL events announces its designation by the French government as the ‘'Preferred Bidder’ for the Stade de France concession contract. This decision marks a new phase in preparation for assuming the management of the site starting the 5th of August.
GL events will continue to work closely with the French government, sports federations, show producers, local authorities and in particular the municipality of Saint-Denis to develop the Stade de France into a place for exchange and gatherings for major world-class events, but also as a community-centric venue open to and serving all members of the public.
This designation as ‘'Preferred Bidder” is a testimony to the Group's ability to contribute to large-scale projects with a strategic dimension, based on its widely-recognised expertise in the refurbishment of event venues in France and other countries.
