As leading provider of high-precision test and electrical contacting solutions, Ingun will add complementary technology and customer access to HUBER+SUHNER’s comprehensive portfolio.

HUBER+SUHNER has signed an agreement to acquire Ingun Prüfmittelbau GmbH and Ingun International GmbH including their subsidiaries. The transaction, which is subject to applicable closing conditions, is expected to be completed by the end of the third quarter of 2026.

Ingun will extend HUBER+SUHNER’s current portfolio with complementary technology, broaden access to existing and adjacent markets, and strengthen its position as a provider of end-to-end testing solutions for high frequency, digital and energy applications, supported by well-aligned development and manufacturing capabilities. Ingun’s offering features spring‑loaded test probes, test fixture kits and accessories for customisation, enabling reliable testing across applications such as printed circuit boards, electrical devices, connectors and batteries.

Urs Ryffel, CEO of HUBER+SUHNER, says: “In the demanding test and measurement market, we have been successfully active with high-quality solutions for many years. The acquisition of Ingun is an important milestone in the implementation of our strategy to grow profitably in attractive, highly differentiated markets.”

Reto Bolt, COO Industry segment at HUBER+SUHNER, adds: “With Ingun, we are expanding our product offering and technological capabilities in a market with high requirements for precision and reliability. Building on our longstanding partnership, we look forward to welcoming the Ingun team to our Group.”

Family-run Ingun, which is headquartered in Constance (Germany), was founded in 1971. The company has more than 400 employees, production sites in Europe and Asia as well as a global sales and service network with a presence in over 60 countries. In 2025, the company generated sales in the high double-digit million range.
