Montega sets course for further growth of successful CONNECT platform with spin-off Airtime Software AG

Hamburg, 17 July 2024 – Montega AG, a leading research house and operator of one of the largest platforms for capital market events in Europe, has recorded dynamic growth in the provision of broad coverage and high-reach events of listed companies since the launch of the CONNECT platform in 2021. To reflect the successful development of CONNECT and to set the course for further growth of the platform, the digital activities have been bundled in the spin-off Airtime Software AG since 1 July 2024. The alignment and specialization of Airtime's organizational structures around the services of the CONNECT platform will provide an optimal allocation of resources for further growth. More than 200 issuers from Germany and other European countries already use CONNECT. For the full year 2024, Montega expects to hold around 600 events for earnings calls, roundtables, and virtual roadshows.

One particular focus in the future direction of CONNECT, the intelligent platform for successful IR management, will be the use of artificial intelligence (AI) for investor targeting. Airtime will focus even more on matching by continuously expanding the CONNECT platform with useful features for issuers and investors. For example, CONNECT's AI will bring companies and investors together in an efficient and targeted manner and significantly increase the visibility of events. For investors, the content offering will be expanded to include transcriptions of presentations, specific company content, and data.

With more than 80 percent of new investors registrations on CONNECT already coming from non-German-speaking countries, it's the next logical step. We expect the number of events on CONNECT to multiply over the next few years as a result of internationalization.”

Organizationally, Montega's research activities are being separated from the investor targeting and event activities of Airtime's CONNECT platform. For issuers and investors, the spin-off will have no impact on the use of CONNECT. Also, under the umbrella of Airtime Software AG, the CONNECT platform will provide the attractive conditions previously offered by Montega.
