Philippe Knoche will join the Schneider Electric Board as observer in view of his proposed appointment as Board member at the 2024 Annual General Meeting

Rueil-Malmaison (France), December 14, 2023 - Schneider Electric, the global leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, anounces that Philippe Knoche will join the Board as observer with the intent to propose his appointment as Board member at the 2024

Shareholders’ Meeting.

Philippe Knoche, a French and German dual citizen based in Paris, who was the Chief Executive Officer of Orano from 2015 to 2023, has recently joined Thales as Senior Executive Vice President Operations and Performance in October 2023. He will bring to the Board his expertise in energy and technology as well as his experience in transformations both at a strategic and operational level.

Philippe Knoche will qualify as an independent Director with regard to all the criteria set by Article 10.5 of the AFEP-MEDEF Corporate Governance Code and, if appointed by the Shareholder Meeting in May 2024, will join the Audit & Risks Committee.
