SAINT-GOBAIN HAS SIGNED AN AGREEMENT FOR THE SALE OF ITS DISTRIBUTION BUSINESS IN BRAZIL

Saint-Gobain has signed a definitive agreement with the Brazilian firm Tauá Partners for the sale of Telhanorte, its construction materials distribution business in Brazil.

Following the divestment of Tumelero in December 2025, this transaction completes the Group’s sale of all distribution businesses in the country.

Telhanorte currently operates 27 stores and one logistic center, with a strong presence in the state of São Paulo. It employs approximately 1,650 people, and generated sales of around €180 million in 2025.

The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of the first half of 2026.

This operation is part of Saint-Gobain’s strategy to further strengthen its business profile, in line with its “Lead & Grow” plan.
