Sunrise Business offers full integration of landline calling into Microsoft Teams with Operator Connect

«With the Operator Connect option for Business Voice for Microsoft Teams, we’re offering our customers additional support for their digital workplace,» says Robert Redeleanu, Chief Business Officer at Sunrise. «Employees can be contacted easily via the cloud on any of their mobile devices by dialing the company’s landline number, regardless of where they’re working.»

Sunrise Business customers have already been enjoying the benefits of Business Voice for Microsoft Teams for some time now. The solution ensures that their employees can be contacted anywhere and on any of their devices via their landline number. Previously, it was only possible with Microsoft Direct Routing. With the Operator Connect option, Sunrise Business now offers an entirely cloud-based service, eliminating the need for the investment in hardware installation.

 

Support from a single source

In addition to saving on hardware, companies also save on maintenance work since updates are provided automatically via the cloud. Also, new users can be activated with just a few clicks in the Microsoft Teams Admin Center. If customers do still require assistance, Sunrise Business offers 24/7 telephone support as well as on-site support from a single source through its Managed Services.

 

Options offer maximum flexibility

To use Business Voice for Microsoft Teams, customers need Microsoft 365 licenses (with a phone add-on from Microsoft, if it is not already part of the licenses) and an onboarding package that offers the relevant installation service from Sunrise Business. The Work Smart Voice option allows business customers to individually sign up for suitable flat rates for their employees, on a monthly basis if required.

Sunrise is currently working on an option to allow companies to integrate mobile phone numbers into Microsoft Teams. Teams Phone Mobile will also be available via Sunrise Business in the future.
