Three Ways Tiers Can Save Twenty-Five Percent in Production Costs
Manufacturers can increase performance and optimize operations with Schuler's future press concept, "TRITON"
CANTON, MI / ACCESSWIRE / October 26, 2023 / Schuler North America, subsidiary of Schuler Group GmbH, and MetalForming Magazine partner together to present a complimentary webinar, "Three Ways Tiers Can Save 25% in Production Costs." The live webinar will be presented on Wednesday, November 1, at 2:00 PM EST.
"Metal formers are always looking for new ways to reduce downtime and increase performance, and Industry 4.0 expectations have dramatically intensified these market needs," explains Tiago Vasconcellos, Sales Director of Automotive and Industry at Schuler North America. "Schuler's future press concept, TRITON, is designed to help Tiers incorporate a fully digital and fully integrated press shop that can significantly save in production costs."
Schuler introduced its "Press Shop of the Future," key technologies that maximize overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and implement digitalization, earlier this year. TRITON paves the way for Tier manufactures to create their own Press Shop of the Future, as state-of-the-art stamping facilities do not have to be specific to OEMs. All TRITON presses are Industry 4.0-capable and ready for digitalization.
"The trident, featured in Schuler's TRITON logo, represents the three pillars of these machines: high quality, performance, and technological innovation," states Gurinder Singh, Sales Manager at Schuler North America. "Schuler developed the TRITON concept for mechanical press lines, with or without servo drives, in a modular design that allows for individual adaptations. The various identical parts make for fast and efficient service at a competitive price."
Registrants will learn about the technologies, digitalization, and operations behind Schuler's TRITON concept. Technological benefits to be discussed include increased output and availability, faster setup with optimized offline simulation, enhanced flexibility for dies and processes, reduced training time for new workers, lower costs per part, and advanced press diagnostics that improve OEE.
Schuler's webinar will be presented by Gurinder Singh. Singh has published numerous technical papers about Schuler technology and presented at various global speaking engagements. He has been a valued employee of Schuler Group for 13 years and is responsible for new equipment sales specific to stamping, cutting, and forging technology.
