PRESS RELEASE

Units of Two Top-Ten Industry Players Just Started Deploying This Canadian AI Company’s Technology (TSXV: SCAI)

WSW, NY, July 5th, 2026, FinanceWire

Since the start of May, SalesCloser Technologies Ltd. (TSXV: SCAI) (FSE: MJ5) (OTC: SCTLF) has put out a steady run of news. The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office granted it its first and second U.S. patents. It switched on its own NVIDIA Blackwell-class GPU cluster. It reported its first quarterly results as a public company. And in the space of a week, it disclosed two customers, each so far within a single business unit: the Latin American unit of a group it describes as one of the world's ten largest life insurers, and a resort that is part of one of the world's ten largest hotel companies.

The two customer wins stand out for who they are and what they are doing. At a 270-room beachfront resort, SalesCloser's AI voice agents are being deployed to take after-hours room-service orders and route them to the kitchen through the systems, work that used to require overnight staff. The insurer is using the platform for life-insurance onboarding and customer service. Both customers are unnamed and both rollouts are early stage, with no revenue disclosed. What is notable is that neither is a traditional outbound sales use case, the job the product was originally built for.

So what is SalesCloser? In plain terms, the company builds conversational AI "agents" that hold real, spoken conversations with a company's prospects and customers. According to the company, the agents work across phone, video, and digital channels and handle tasks such as lead qualification, product demos, follow-ups, and scheduling, in multiple languages, around the clock. Customers build and adjust those agents through a conversational, no-code interface, the subject of the company's first patent, so a sales or service team can stand one up without writing code. The pitch to businesses is straightforward: add conversation capacity without adding headcount.

What sets it apart, in the company's telling, is that it runs live voice and video calls rather than the email-based outreach that tools such as Apollo.io are known for. That places SalesCloser in the broader conversational AI market, which Grand View Research projects to reach US$41.39 billion by 2030, a 23.7% compound annual growth rate from 2025, and in the smaller, fast-moving niche of voice agents specifically.

The recent infrastructure and patent news landed in the same window as the enterprise wins. The GPU cluster, hosted in Canada on a mostly hydroelectric powered grid, lets the company fine-tune its models on its own data and keep customer conversations inside a controlled perimeter, something it links to selling into regulated industries such as financial services. The two patents, announced May 1 and May 26, cover the no-code builder and a system for detecting voicemail and phone menus on outbound calls; the company says they are the first two of nine U.S. applications.

The financial base under all of this is still in its initial phases. In its first set of results as a public company for the second quarter of fiscal 2026, revenue rose 224% year over year to C$382,755 from C$118,316, gross margin reached 70.4%, and the company ended with C$6.5 million in cash and no long-term debt. Annual recurring revenue, a non-GAAP figure defined in its filings, topped C$2.0 million at the closing of its going-public transaction in late March, more than six times where it sat a year earlier. The company has said it intends to target gross margins above 80% as the subscription base grows.

For a company that completed its go-public transaction in late March and began trading in April, the past five weeks have packed in a lot: two top-ten industry players, two patents, new compute, and a first set of public numbers. Whether that run converts into durable recurring revenue is what the next few quarters will show.
