Cardiovascular Prevention Act:
A response to a major public health challenge A milestone fully aligned with Valbiotis’ mission
La Rochelle, Monday, July 27, 2026 (5:40 PM CEST) – Valbiotis (FR0013254851 – ALVAL, PEA/PME eligible), a French laboratory specializing in cardiometabolic health, welcomes the final and unanimous adoption by the French Parliament, on Monday, July 20, 2026, of the proposed legislation to accelerate cardiovascular and neurovascular prevention.
This legislation explicitly places the prevention of cardiovascular and neurovascular diseases at the heart of France’s national prevention strategy. It strengthens awareness-raising efforts on key risk factors, including high blood pressure, diabetes and high cholesterol, and expands screening for these conditions within existing programs, to support earlier detection and better lifelong monitoring. It also broadens the role of community-based healthcare professionals. Pharmacists are now authorized to measure blood pressure as part of preventive care. Lastly, the legislation also provides for workplace initiatives to raise awareness of cardiovascular and neurovascular risk factors.
Institutional recognition that aligns with Valbiotis’ mission
This legislation sends a strong message: prevention is becoming a cornerstone of the French healthcare system in the fight against cardiovascular and neurovascular diseases. This message directly echoes Valbiotis’ mission: to prevent cardiometabolic imbalances through early action, before disease develops. For more than 10 years, the Company has been developing and providing healthcare professionals and consumers with scientifically grounded, clinically tested solutions resulting from rigorous R&D to support effective, evidence-based prevention.
Three aspects of the text align directly with Valbiotis’ priorities: promoting prevention at key stages of life, strengthening awareness-raising initiatives and improving recognition of cardiometabolic risk in women, a Valbiotis commitment illustrated by the recent Cœur en Jeu (“Heart at Stake”) campaign and its support for the Agir pour le Cœur des Femmes Women’s Cardiovascular Healthcare Foundation.
This institutional recognition reinforces Valbiotis’ long-term approach, focused on scientific innovation and the prevention of cardiometabolic imbalances through clinically tested solutions designed to address patients' health needs with precision.
In practical terms, this commitment is already reflected in two initiatives: a dedicated training plan for healthcare professionals focused on preventing cardiometabolic imbalances, and the commercialization of the ValbiotisPRO® range. Developed through 10 years of R&D and clinically tested, the ValbiotisPRO® range currently includes three products (Cholesterol, Metabolic Health, Cardio-Circulation), complemented by five products in the ValbiotisPLUS® range targeting symptoms associated with cardiometabolic imbalances (Sleep, Serenity, Multivitamins, Omega-3, Magnesium).
