Crédit Agricole SA: Closing of the share buyback program
Crédit Agricole SA concluded its share buyback program, launched on October 1, 2024, on November 6, 2024. A total of 15,128,677 shares were repurchased for an amount of EUR 208,465,605, according to instructions given to an independent investment services provider.
The objective of this transaction was to offset the dilutive effect of the capital increase reserved for employees in 2024. The acquired shares will be cancelled, impacting Crédit Agricole SA's CET1 ratio by -5 basis points and that of the group by -3 basis points.
Finally, the liquidity contract with Kepler Cheuvreux, suspended during this period, will resume its usual activities.
