Half-yearly review and governance changes for SMTPC
The Société Marseillaise du Tunnel Prado Carénage (SMTPC) has published its results for the first half of 2024. Traffic increased slightly by 0.2% with 7,138,326 light vehicles. Turnover reached 18.88 million euros, up 4.2% compared to 2023, mainly due to price increases.
Net income fell by 30.4% to EUR 4.6 million, due to depreciation related to the commissioning of the Schlœsing slip road. The change in the net value of fixed assets and the increase in cash flows generated by the activity are notable.
In terms of governance, Pierre Rimattei has resigned as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Gérard Goninet has been appointed as his replacement until 2026, while Jérôme Havard remains Chief Executive Officer.
