Quartz Mountain Resources Expands Prodigy Gold Mineralization
Quartz Mountain Resources Ltd. has announced promising assay results from its Phase 3 drill program on the Maestro property near Houston, BC. The results include significant gold-equivalent grades, discovering a gold-rich porphyry system and extending the mineralization at the Prodigy discovery. Drilling totaled 3,885 meters across seven holes. Notably, drill hole PR25-13 intersected a 340-meter stretch of Porphyry Au mineral system, with key intervals showing 0.79 g/t AuEQ over 123 meters and 0.73 g/t AuEQ over 315 meters.
The program focused on delineating epithermal and porphyry mineral systems, identifying Porphyry Au, Porphyry Cu-Mo, and Epithermal Au-Ag-Mo-Cu mineralization. Quartz aims to initiate Phase 4 drilling in February 2026, backed by a $2.6 million treasury. Mineralization shows parallels to BC's Blackwater Gold Mine, suggesting integrated porphyry-epithermal systems.
