Waga Energy Initiates a Capital Increase of 45 Million Euros
Waga Energy, an expert in the production of biomethane from waste storage sites, has announced the start of a capital increase of a minimum of 45 million euros. This operation will take place through the accelerated construction of an order book, including 18.3 million euros already secured by investments from entities such as ALIAD, Noria, Starquest, VOL-V, CMA-CGM, Tertium Growth, and Enowe. This financing aims to support the expansion of the company's international growth.
The fundraising will allow Waga Energy to finance the own costs of new projects and the production of WAGABOX© units, thus promoting its global expansion. The aim is to finance the investments necessary to achieve a target turnover of 200 million euros by 2026.
The offering, which seeks to raise a minimum of €45 million, has already seen €18.3 million secured through subscription commitments. It plans an offering in Europe, particularly in France, and a private placement outside the United States as well as with qualified investors in the United States. The new shares to be issued will be of the same type as the existing shares of the Company and will have the same rights.
