Torq Raises C$5.3M in Concurrent Offerings
Torq Resources Inc. completed a concurrent public and private offering of equity securities, issuing 23,206,860 units at a price of C$0.23 per unit. Gold Fields increased its ownership of Torq to 15.48% through a concurrent private placement. The proceeds will be used for exploration at Torq's Santa Cecilia gold-copper project in Chile and for general corporate and working capital purposes. Paradigm Capital Inc. and Red Cloud Securities Inc. acted as co-lead agents for the public offering, with Beacon Securities Limited as a member of the syndicate of agents. -
